The Skeletal Tyrannosaurus of Chino: My Personal Childhood Encounter With the Impossibly Prehistoric

An artistic reconstruction of Kevin Wikse's childhood account of witnessing a massive skeletal Tyrannosaurus rex walking across a distant mountain ridgeline near Chino, California, circa 1983–1984. A question was asked of me. "Do you have any personal experiences with cryptids?" Yes. I have had several personal experiences with cryptids and other anomalous entities. The Loveland Frogman and the Wand No One Wants to Talk About by Kevin Wikse.

Image
At 3:03 A.M., Kevin Wikse shares a moment with the Loveland Frogman along the Little Miami River. The wand, reported in the original 1955 encounter, activates. After a few beers, the Loveland Frogman reveals just how much your mom loves his sparky rod. Most cryptids earn their place in American folklore through violence. Bigfoot is accused of throwing rocks. Dogman allegedly stalks lonely roads. The Jersey Devil has frightened generations of Pine Barrens travelers. The Loveland Frogman is different. It doesn't chase anyone. It doesn't attack. It doesn't leave bodies behind. Instead, it appears briefly, almost quietly—maybe too quietly—before disappearing back into the darkness surrounding the Little Miami River. That alone makes the case unusual. Then there's the wand. One witness described a frog-like humanoid raising a metallic rod that emitted visible sparks into the night sky. Seventeen years later, two police officers would report encounters with a remarkably...

A poem penned by death's hand: Automatic Writing session with the Nightstalker.

I have repeatedly heard that interest in the occult and the development of mediumistic talents often results from near-death experiences (NDE) and UFO-based abduction. Like many legitimate experiencers of high strangeness, this began for me when I was young and for the same reasons. I was either 11 or 12 when I was given a coven-only copy of the art of Necromancy (contacting the dead) employed by the Witches of Solvang, a witch cult operating in Solvang, California. Since then, I have been driven to pursue, document, and experience paranormal phenomena from the inside out.  The following is an example of that drive. I do not suggest anyone copy what little of my methodologies I share. The paranormal and the occult are  not  practices to take lightly. They have consequences, and those consequences can be dire. Take me seriously, or laugh, but you have been warned either way.  In the practices of spiritism and Necromancy, a thing or object through which a person's spir...
